Additive 5325 is Active & Effective Defoamer. It is an emulsion of Activated Silicone Oil with blend of proprietary surfactants in Mineral Oil. It doesn’t impart surface defect like conventional Silicone based Defoamers.


Dose Level:

• Being very effective just 0.200 to 0.500% is sufficient to Defoam and control re-generation of Foam. However, final dose level will vary depending upon foaming tendency of the system, type & quantity of Surfactant present in the system. It is suggested to determine Final Dose by conducting Trial/s.

Incorporation Method:

• Aqueous Paints, Inks & Paper Coating: Addition at Grind Stage and Let Down stage under agitation.
• All other industries at any stage in after diluting with Water

Additive 4122-S:

• Silicone Based Defoamer is Active & Effective defoamer that is processed using activated silicon oil with blend of proprietary surfactants in aromatic hydrocarbon. The defoamer is used for stopping the foam formation while working and also stops the regeneration of foam in the system. The additive is APEO free.

Application Procedure:

• Mix the additive 4122-S with solvent of the system in 1:3 ratio (1 Part Silicone Defoamer 3 Parts Solvent).
• The dilution is incorporated in the system with agitation to disperse thoroughly

Add-Eco 5514 P & P – a defoamer is useful in Kraft pulp stock, sulphite stock, screen room, bleach plant area and the like. “Add-Eco 5514 P& P” is highly Active & Effective Defoamer. It is an emulsion of Silicone Oil with a blend of proprietary surfactants. The silicone oil is found to enhance quick "knock-down" of foam, particularly in high-temperature applications. It not only bursts the Foam but controls re-generation of Foam.

Applications:

• It may be injected directly into a line feeding the washer showers, suitably the first or second stage showers. If added to the second stage showers, a major portion of the defoamer will be carried by the second stage filtrate to the first stage showers to control foaming of the hot, relatively concentrated black liquor in the first stage washer. The remaining defoamer will be carried to the pulp subsequent washing and screening stages and will remain effective to the preventthe formation of excessive foam in the later stages.

Active Mineral Oil based Defoamer is a mineral based defoamer that is widely used in different chemical processes. It is free from silicone and eliminate the foam generation effectively. Suitable for process liquids with medium acidity and high alkalinity, this type of mineral oil based defoamer control the tendency of re-foaming on the total system

• Additive 5154 is Effective Defoamer in Powder Form. It not only burst the Foams but controls re-generation of Foam. It is ideally suitable for product supplied in Dry Form.

Dose Level:

• Being very effective just 0.1 to 0.3% is sufficient to Defoam and control re-generation of Foam.
• However, it is suggested to determine Final Dose Level by conducting Trials at user’s end.

Additive 5118 is Silicon Free defoamer. It is 100% active Liquid Defoamer based on Mineral Oil. It is ideally suitable for Chemical Process of mild Acidic to high alkalinity. In addition to destroying foam, Additive 5118 also controls the re-foaming tendency of the surfactants incorporated in the system.

Application & Dose Level:

• For Emulsion Paint - 0.1 to 0.3% is sufficient to Deform. It is advisable to split the addition of Defoamer by adding half of the determined quantity to the Pigment Premix prior to Dispersion. Balance can be added at Let-down Stage. For Adhesives – 1 to 2% recommended based on the total weight of the Latex Solids.
• For Chemical Processes – Dosage depends on the degree of Foaming.
• Degreasing Chemicals & Lubricant Industry – 0.1 to 0.2% on Total System or Depending upon Foaming Tendency of Surfactants incorporated.
